Support Mark Ryan in his goal to complete 4000 pull-ups in 12 hours and help raise money for the local charity group, The Cycle Effect. This organization "Empowers young women through mountain biking, to create brighter futures and build stronger communities".
Your generous donation includes one entry into a random raffle from local merchants and restaurants. The recommended donation is a penny per pull-up ($40.00). In addition, you can choose to actively participate in a challenge of your own. Chase your own personal pull-up goal alongside Mark or compete in a pull-up game
Rules of the Pull-up Ladder Game:
Sets of pull-ups are completed in succession from 1 increasing by 1 rep in each subsequent set. All sets are completed with a 1 minute rest period until failure to complete the next rung of the ladder.
For Example
1 Pull-up
1 min rest
2 Pull-ups
1 min rest
3 Pull-ups
1 min rest
4 Pull-ups
1 min rest, etc
Your score includes the highest rung you complete, combined with the number of reps completed in the failed set. For example, if a participant completes a set of 7, rests one minute and attempts to complete 8 reps but fails at 5, the score would be 7(5) or 75. Highest score wins.
The date is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Don’t miss out!
